Project Planner / Planning Manager

Full time – permanent or contract (outside IR35)

Basic Salary: £35-50k (depending on experience)

SRC Infrastructure has been providing project management and engineering-based advisory, consultancy and managed services solutions to UK infrastructure clients for almost 20 years. We are a small to medium sized company that has built a strong reputation delivering multi-disciplinary projects and programmes for private and public sector clients. We carry out multi-disciplinary design packages and support clients with turnkey domain expertise in their teams.

Requirements

Essential Criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Experience using Primavera, MS Project and extensive knowledge of PPM Systems and Tools

  • At least 5+ years of previous professional planning management experience on transportation, water, and/or land development projects is required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to work under pressure within time constraints

  • Proven capability to build relationships, be proactive and be part of a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams


Desirable Criteria:

  • Significant experience within the TfL/LUL Environment, including knowledge of the planning, design and construction activities undertaken across a number of TfL project areas (track, signalling, stations, civils or surface projects)

  • Good knowledge and understanding of capital projects and programmes with an emphasis on Planning

  • Knowledge of different Commercial arrangements, NEC contractual obligations and their impact of project controls management with an emphasis on Planning
